ABOUT THIS ITEM
'We are innocent but the day we met MONEY things changed. We’d been stalking them for some time, admittedly; when our cover was blown we immediately kissed and they delivered their souls unto us in a brown paper envelope. In the weeks that followed they sucked us into a seedy underworld of lust, perversion and linguistic violence. We said there ought to be a law against MONEY. (—Mr. Bones: there is.) There was transvestite-stalking, strangulation and naked bodies, a derangement of the senses as nights turned into days … the strangest thing was that out of the mire some kind of poetry emerged, accompanied by music to soothe the bitterest of hearts. Holy, holy, holy. Angels with alabaster faces and dirty wings led by a Rilke-talking weirdo with an electric guitar, there was only one certainty … we had to put this out on record, capture the moment …
This is that moment, forever. Perhaps now we can sleep.'
