To celebrate Mark Ronson & The Business Intl taking over several key indie record stores across the country throughout Sept / Oct Columbia Records release this exclusive and very limited 12” which see’s Mark Ronson & The Business Intl teaming up with Nick Rhodes (of Duran Duran fame) and coming up with "The Sound Of Plastic". Rose Elinor Dougall takes the lead vocal, sounding at times like Debbie Harry circa "Heart Of Glass" - in fact the whole track has an early 80s electro-disco feel to it, albeit one with a rough and ready feel to it. Think Italians Do It Better in a lo-fi style. Ronson, Nick Rhodes and Spank Rock also feature on the vocals, while the flipside is instrumental - your future secret disco weapon I reckon.
