      LJ Simon Feat. Denice Brooks

      Givin' Up

Red Motorbike hits the road in '26 with an original production from Berlin's master of boogie funk LJ Simon!

Givin' Up is a soulful modern funk 7" steeped in warm '80s analogue production and classic groove.
The OG version blends vintage synth textures with a deep, understated rhythm section. Known for his love of fat-sounding vintage gear, LJ Simon begins every song with no blueprint, working purely from sound, instinct, and feel, tuning in to receive what the moment brings. The influences are unmistakable, yet the result feels fresh, intuitive and alive.

Vocals are delivered by Denice Brooks, a formidable singer from Austin, Texas, now based in Berlin. Denice built her solo career while performing with an exceptional list of artists including Tina Turner, Roy Ayers, David Bowie, Nancy Wilson, Natalie Cole, and many others. She is notably the only singer to receive Prince's blessing to record an official cover of 'Purple Rain' - a distinction that speaks volumes about her artistry.
Her career has taken her across Germany, Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa, where she even once performed for Nelson Mandela. Her continued experience across stage, studio, television, and musical theatre shines through in a vocal performance rich in depth and soul.

Label head Eddie C offers up his Disko Mix and reframes the track through a '90s street soul lens; stripped-back, dusty, and perfectly tuned for late-night selectors and heads-down dancefloors.

      Motorpsycho

      The Gaia II Space Corps

Motorpsycho has always been of the opinion that the most interesting stuff happens in any art form before it is formatted and settled. In rock music, this phenomenon peaked in and around 1970, and it is in this period that the best heavy music was made, simply because the rules weren’t set, there were not ropes yet, and there were no clichés to fall back on.

'The Gaia ll Space Corps' is an album of tunes that don’t quite sound like heavy metal or hard rock, but clearly is reaching for some of the same qualities. It is post-psychedelic, pre-metal music, and is probably as close to making a true blue ‘classic hard rock’ album Motorpsycho ever will come. 'The Gaia ll Space Corps' is a short, concise, catchy and exciting album, continuing where Motorpsycho’s 'Stanley' and 'The Comeback' left off. The instrumentation is mostly guitars, guitars and some more guitars, but there is quite a bit of singing in there too, and even an occasional keyboard sound or two as well. But mostly this is guitar music that ...well, rocks! Hard!!

The first single is the album’s lead off track 'Fanny Again Or'. This Bent sung fable is a shot of adrenaline that fairly reeks of the Osmonds (and comes with a faint whiff of the Hammer of the Gods). It is a riffy proposition that can’t help but get the blood up in any and every true rocker! Snah then sings the tragic-but-groovy psych rocker 'The Great Stash Robbery', a Freak Brothers-esque tall tale of the ‘pot will get you through times of no money better than money will get you though times of no pot’-variety. Other stand-outs are the bluesy, nervy juggernaut 'TSMcR' where the band, with Reine in the lead, almost derails as it channels the sci-fi blues of the mighty Groundhogs, and the title track, an exciting 60’s stomper celebrating the proud feats of the titular organisation. It features Snah on electric sitar. 'The Hornet' choogles briskly along (‘...and don’t forget to boogie!’), before the epic, Snah sung ballad 'The Oracle' lets the sun in for a breath of air. Light and shade, right? This version of the band (Ryan / Sæther, with Fiske and Olsen) then tops it all by delivering an epic, knock-out version of the old Frost classic 'Black As Night' to end proceedings in appropriate Detroit style.

‘They don’t make records like this anymore’ the band thought, then went and did something about it. Recorded both at the Old Cheese Factory in Trondheim and in Amper Tone in Oslo, 'The Gaia ll Space Corps' proudly sounds like it was recorded in 1970 and makes up in excitement for what it might lack in subtlety. And sometimes you just gotta let it rip, dontcha? Motorpsycho certainly thinks so, and offers up 'The Gaia ll Space Corps' as an answer to the acoustic jangle of 'Yay!' [NFGS0223] and the epic workouts of 'Motorpsycho' [NFGS0125]. Made with love and respect for a dying art form, it’s energy will leave you reeling, deaf and happy, socks rocked well and truly off! Rock is dead, long live rock!

          Ashol Caravan

There are all kinds of summits, but the Mountains of Madness top all others. The Ahsol Caravan was the ultimate challenge, and together they found the highest high. But also the deepest depths.

Considered a lost film for close to 50 years, Theo Buhara’s AHSOL CARAVAN can now finally be experienced as the independent movie masterpiece it is, and as a true cinematic phoenix, with a spectacular soundtrack to boot, written by Motorpsycho, the very same band that scored his neo-spaghetti western THE TUSSLER in the early 90’s.

              Swearing At Motorists

31 Seasons In The Minor Leagues

Probably the first album to be written and recorded entirely in a Bundesliga soccer stadium, namely the Millerntor Stadium of football team FC St. Pauli in Hamburg. Don't worry, it doesn't sound like stadium rock at all. Quite the opposite in fact…Lo-fi without being brittle and minimal without feeling sparse.

Dave Doughman is the heart and voice behind Swearing At Motorists, who perform and record mainly as a duo. Since 1995, Swearing At Motorists has built a cult following with their raw energy, heartfelt songwriting, and relentless DIY ethos. Dubbed "The World's Local Band," as well as "The Two Men Who", they've traveled countless miles playing shows worldwide, sharing stages with iconic acts like Guided By Voices, Songs:Ohia, The Breeders, Spoon, Unwound, Brainiac, The Lemonheads, My Morning Jacket, and more.

The Hidden Cameras are a Canadian indie pop band formed in 2001 by singer-songwriter Joel Gibb. Known for their blend of melodic pop, orchestral arrangements, and provocative lyrics exploring queer themes, the band gained early recognition for their theatrical live shows featuring go-go dancers, choirs, and string sections. Their debut album 'The Smell of Our Own' became a cult favorite, followed by critically acclaimed releases like 'Mississauga Goddam' and 'Awoo'. Over the years, The Hidden Cameras have remained a unique voice in indie music, mixing intimacy, activism, and baroque pop sensibilities.

No Sleep At All - 2025 Reissue

Of Motorhead’s 1988’s 'No Sleep At All', Wurzel was quoted as saying “A lot of fans were saying that they want to hear this line-up on a live album. EVERYBODY seems to record at the Hammersmith Odeon don't they? Or the Fillmore East when that was going, or the Budokan and all those flash places. So we thought we'd do it in Finland…”

Recorded at the Giants of Rock Festival in Hameenlinna (because why not?) this the band’s third live album is now available for you to enjoy on clear with black/white splatter vinyl as part of the band’s 50th celebrations. Comes with a poster.

                      No Remorse - 2025 Reissue

If 'No Sleep Til’ Hammersmith' was Motorhead’s definitive live album, then 1984’s 'No Remorse' was certainly their definitive compilation record that remains one of their classic records to this day. Providing an overview of their time with Bronze, it also featured four new songs including the band classic ‘Killed By Death’ amongst others. As the cassette version of the album warned ‘ Motorhead can seriously damage your neighbours hearing’ !

Honouring the 50th year of one of the greatest and most influential hard rock bands of all time, this classic album is now available on coloured red/black splatter vinyl. It also comes with a poster.

                        The Motorcycle Boy

                        John Peel Session 14.09.87

From the ashes of the Shop Assistants and Meat Whiplash came the Motorcycle Boy, one of the great lost Scottish pop groups of the late 1980s.

Featuring the unmistakable voice of the late Alex Taylor, the band traded under an enigmatic name inspired by Mickey Rourke’s character in Francis Ford Coppola’s avant-garde film noir Rumble Fish.

The Edinburgh-based five-piece were feted as the ‘next big thing’ and went on to release a string of classy singles – but it was the old, old story. Dropped by a major label, the Motorcycle Boy’s debut LP was recorded and never came out – well, not until a few years ago, about 30 years after it should have done – and the band split up, their chance at world domination gone.

Fans, though, remember their bittersweet pop gems – and now their only BBC session for the legendary John Peel is released on Precious Recordings of London. This four-song outing at Maida Vale features the LP title track ‘Scarlet’ and much loved ‘Under The Bridge’, plus the previously unreleased ‘I Could Make You Happy’, perhaps as close to indiepop as they ever got.

With sleeve notes by Michael Kerr and a plethora of unseen images, this release is limited to 500 copies worldwide. Don’t miss out.

                          Motorhead

                          The Manticore Tapes

In 1976 the seminal line-up of Motorhead was solidified a year after the band’s initial inception. The ‘three amigos’ era of Motorhead; Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite.

In August 1976 the band set up at Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and showcase the new lineup. While they were there they recorded together for the very first time and now 49 years later, the long lost tape has been discovered, dusted off and restored in all it’s raw glory, to celebrate the bands 50th anniversary.

Available on a classic black 1LP, CD and as a deluxe expanded 2LP bookpack, all formats include additional alternate takes and instrumentals for a unique insight into the birth of this legendary band.

Additionally the deluxe bookpack comes with an extra bonus LP - the classic bonus Live: Blitzkrieg on Birmingham ‘77 as well as a bonus 7” featuring two previously unreleased tracks live at Barbarellas Birmingham in 1977. There’s also a 24 page booklet with liner notes from long-time collaborator Kris Needs. "

Ace Of Spades - 2025 Reissue

While it should need little introduction, 'Ace of Spades' was a truly legendary, game-changing slice of hard rock perfection. Igniting generations of music fans with its speaker destroying riffs, ear-shredding volume and indomitable speed and style, it was a record that pushed boundaries and changed the musical landscape forever. Amped up to 11, nothing was harder, nothing was faster, and certainly nothing was louder.

Honouring one of the greatest and most influential hard rock bands of all time, this classic album is now available on coloured vinyl, with the half speed masters created from the original tapes. It also comes with a poster.

Following up on your first album is no easy task but then not all bands were Motorhead. When not destroying crowds with their trademark no holds-barred, head pounding hard rock, they got to work on the follow up to their self-titled debut. The result? An ear shredding, skull splitting record featuring the likes of hit singles 'Overkill' and 'No Class' and an indelible imprint in the history books of rock.

                                Bomber - 2025 Reissue

When Motorhead released a classic of the magnitude of 'Overkill' in March 1979, they would have been forgiven for taking a breather soon after, but then not all rocks bands had their DNA. Somehow in all the madness, they managed to the legendary 'Bomber' the very same year. Reaching number 12 in the UK charts the record brought some of Motorhead's most popular songs, like 'Bomber', 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' and 'Stone Dead Forever'.

Honouring one of the greatest and most influential hard rock bands of all time, this classic album is now available on coloured vinyl, with the half speed masters created from the original tapes. It also comes with a poster.

Hot on the heels of Sukuma, Durban's Sugarman Sandy B returns to Red Motorbike with Bink Party!

This time around, he's teamed up with label boss Eddie C on production, as well as an assortment of underground artists from around the globe whom he has collaborated with during his WorldKwaitour, which he combined with the 30th anniversary of his successful underground independent debut, AmaJoviJovi.
Bink, the genre Sandy B coined, is a modern take on Kwaito's loose rhythms and the mid-tempo funk we've come to know and love from the Red Motorbike stables.

Sandy B's Zulu staccato rap and R&B stylings sound as fresh as ever as he continues to connect with his global family through his international travels, currently on tour across Asia and Australia.

                                  Bink Party into 2025!!

After years out of press, Motorpsycho's 2001 masterpiece is back in stock on vinyl! Originally released in 2001, Phanerothyme was a brave sidestep in the band's career. After many years out of press, Stickman Records is proud to finally offer an updated version of this LP!

                                    Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

                                    Live At Levitation

In the early 2000s, San Francisco's Black Rebel Motorcycle Club were part of a vanguard of acts spearheading a garage rock revival - each a beacon of the staying power of gritty guitar music: The White Stripes and Dirtbombs in Detroit, The Kills in London, The Strokes and Interpol in New York, The Raveonettes in Copenhagen - the list goes on. Each made their mark, and BRMC’s take on rock and roll in the 20th century was particularly alluring - dark and atmospheric, their debut LP took them immediately out of the underground and onto stages worldwide, bringing their rock and roll manifesto to a new generation of music fans and artists.

Chaos & The Art Of Motorcycle Madness

Cursed to ride forever on this mortal plane after partaking in a satanic drug ritual, the Death Wheelers pledge allegiance to the god of hell and fire. However, in order to prove themselves to their newly anointed leader and for the spell to take effect, the club Will need to engage in a series of lewd acts of sex and violence across the country.Immortality comes at a price and you’re about to pay for it…

The beating heart of The Death Wheelers is a rumbling engine. Since their self-titled debut in 2015 and in 2020’s cinematic-storytelling breakout, Divine Filth, the Canadian outfit have tapped into wind-through-hair freedom and careened down open roads of groove, not a cop in sight. Their third record, Chaos and the Art of Motorcycle Madness, more than lives up to its name on all fronts. With songs like “Morbid Bails” and “Lucifer’s Bend,” the in-the-know references abound, and The Death Wheelers draw from classic underground metal, scummer heavy rock and cast themselves into a cauldron of cultish biker devil worship, reveling in any and all post-apocalyptic dystopias with genuine glee at having just seen the world eat itself. You might hear some surf guitar. Crazy things can happen.

A sample in “Triple D (Dead, Drunk and Depraved)” underscores the message: “We want to be free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man. And we want to get loaded.” That line, from Roger Corman’s 1966 film The Wild Angels, serves as a mission statement, and as “Lucifer’s Bend” starts by laughing about how you can’t get away from Satan, they might as well carve it into their forearms to be ready when the blast of distortion hits, as much Entombed as Motörhead, galloping and sinister, coated in road dust and blood.

The band tells the story like this: “Cursed to ride forever on this mortal plane after partaking in a satanic drug ritual, the Death Wheelers pledge allegiance to the god of hell and fire. However, in order to prove themselves to their newly anointed leader and for the spell to take effect, the club will need to engage in a series of lewd acts of sex and violence across the country. Immortality comes at a price and you’re about to pay for it…”

While forging songs adherent more to ideology than style, The Death Wheelers cast their biker cult in their own image, and on Chaos and the Art of Motorcycle Madness, they challenge death head-on as only those with no fear of it could hope to do.

                                        12. Cycling For Satan Part II

After a series of epic, sprawling and headphones-friendly albums, Motorpsycho is back with a short, reasonably pop-formatted and intimate album of mainly acoustically based songs. For once playing the game instead of trying to reinvent it, this 10-song album of tunes is clearly a reaction in some way to too much architecture and too many grand visions, and dials the music down to more comprehensive and digestible sizes than have been the band's métier lately.

While as ever clearly drawing on inspiration from late 60s/early 70s heroes, Yay! is as indebted to earlier iterations of Motorpsycho as anything else, and will be recognizable to fans of vintage Motorpsychodelia as well as a breath of fresh air to newer Psychonauts that only ever heard the heavy progressive side of the band.

                                        Motorcade EP

Steve E. Nix and The Famous Lizards are a new four-piece group led by guitarist/singer Steve E. Nix (from legendary Seattle punk band The Briefs). Accompanying him as The Famous Lizards are bassist Kicks (also from The Briefs), guitarist Emi Pop and drummer Miles Freeborn. The Motorcade EP is the band’s debut release. Available on a limited edition black vinyl 7”, it features four killer pop-punk tracks, just what you’d expect from the prolific pen of Steve E. Nix. “I’m a punk rocker who loves guitars and interesting songs. I really like The Godfathers” says Steve. Steve has been putting out quality underground music since 2000 when The Briefs released their first single ‘Poor And Weird’. After four albums, a slew of singles and relentless touring, The Briefs took a well-earned hiatus. Never one to stay still for long Steve almost immediately formed and fronted The Cute Lepers. With Briefs’ bassist Kicks on board and a rotating cast of drummers, guitarists and back-up singers The Cute Lepers continued to tour across the US and Europe and released three albums, all on Damaged Goods Records, along with a bunch of 7” singles. In 2014 The Briefs started touring again and also began work on an album, Platinum Rats, which was eventually released by Damaged Goods Records in 2019.

Everything Louder Forever - The Very Best Of

This Very Best Of compilation is the very first, spanning their entire career.

Motörhead are the true embodiment of rock n’roll excess. A hybrid of punk, rock and heavy metal played with relentless, ear-curdling power. They were a force of nature and nothing short of life-changing for millions, their approach to life and music; there was no “off” switch and they became legends as a result. Fronted for their entirety of their career by Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister, they released twenty two studio albums over their 40 years together.

Amassing chart topping records, a Grammy award and racking up 15 million worldwide sales. Their signature song, Ace Of Spades perfectly captured everything great about hard rock, heavy metal, and punk, amped it all up to 11, and came racing out of the gates at what felt like a million miles an hour, pushing at every musical boundary.

Nothing was harder. Nothing was faster. And certainly nothing was louder. Anyone disputing this fact need look no further than any heavy metal gig and play ‘spot the Motörhead T-shirt and jacket’, they still outnumber anyone else, hands down. Motörhead has truly become a lifestyle for several generations of rockers, metalheads, punks, bikers, athletes, rebels, outcasts, and freethinkers all around the world. Few bands in modern history can instantly ignite the adrenaline of music fans the way they can, they changed the course of hard rock… forever.

                                            Holy Motors

                                            Horse

The more hopeful ‘sunrise’ to 2018’s critically acclaimed Slow Sundown, Horse finds Tallinn, Estonia’s Holy Motors acknowledging the Americana and rockabilly strands of their musical DNA without sacrificing any of the otherworldly mystique that keeps them from neatly conforming to the shoegaze and dreampop labels often applied to their music. From the album’s opening moments, songs like “Country Church,” with its major key and classic rhythm and blues guitarline, and “Midnight Cowboy,” which sounds like a lost Buddy Holly 45 played at 33 rpm, make it clear that Horse — even if it may not accomplish the impossible task of demystifying this band of ex-Soviet cowboys — will at least show you that there’s more to them than the near-impenetrable darkness of their work to date may suggest.

While tracks like “Trouble” and “Endless Night” gravitate towards the ethereal production and existential subject matter of prior releases, repeat listens will reveal the same complex compositions and humanity that are much more a hallmark of Horse’s eight songs. As a whole, Horse stands as a warmer, more human counterpoint to 2018’s celestial Slow Sundown. As to which of the two entries better approximates Holy Motors’ natural set point, only time will tell.

Like Iggy Pop’s great lost Nashville record or the legendary demos for the Strokes masterpiece that never was, this recording is full of catchy courage, significant low notes, bedroom rhythms, hooks, and so on, all of which make for an impossible amount of pleasure. This Swearing At effort towers heads and squirrels above whatever that was you were just listening to. -Camden Joy

Swearing At Motorists has come a long way since it's birth as a poster for a fake band in 1994 .The late '90s found S@M releasing a slew of 7" EPs on different labels, and after getting repeated plays from John Peel and favorable press worldwide, the band landed a contract with the then new label Secretly Canadian. They released 2 EPs & 4 LPs on SC, including 2000's Number Seven Uptown & 2002's This Flag Signals Goodbye, both of which were named MOJO Magazine's "Underground Album of the Year" the years they were released. Swearing At Motorists relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2005, releasing their last LP for Secretly Canadian, Last Night Becomes This Morning the following year before quietly disappearing into the never-ending Berlin night...

8 years later, the band has resurfaced in Hamburg, Germany, with a new album titled While Laughing, The Joker Tells The Truth, to be released on Anton Newcombe's label A Recordings Ltd. Co-produced by Dave and Rick McPhail (of the legendery German band Tocotronic), the album tells the tales of those "lost" 8 years in classic Motorists style.

What's Wordsworth? is a Motad live album recorded in 1978 but not released until 1983. Wilko Johnson organised a charity event on 18 February 1978 at The Roundhouse to raise money to help preserve some William Wordsworth manuscripts. The Count Bishops and Motad were also on the bill, but for contractual reasons Motad needed to perform under another name. Lemmy came up with the name Iron Fist and the Hordes from Hell, which would later be used for the name of a studio album. During this performance Mick Farren joined them onstage for a version of "Lost Johnny".

                                                    Roy And The Devil's Motorcycle

                                                    Tell It To The People

Messed up super raw psychedelic rock'n'roll from tree alpine swiss voodoo brothers, trippin' in a river of endless blues punk and psychedelic power sounds.

Voodoo Rhythm Records is proud to announce their third long awaited album, 'Tell It To The People'

Since 1991 Roy And The DMC have been getting lost in music. Saturated in blues, garage and psychedelia, they've honed a focused, raw and hypnotic sound ranging from blissed out blues to raging garage and druggy soundscapes. Always moving at their own pace and with a slightly disturbing warpedness.

It's worth mentioning that the three guitarist brothers grew up in a tiny Swiss mountain village. When they moved to a larger town with a 'rock club' where they first saw Spacemen 3 and some other sonic pioneers of the time, they got immersed in the energy of garage punk, primal rock and roll, and later on, the depth of blues.

After releasing several singles, compilations and EPs, their first full-length album, 'Forgotten Millionsellers', came out in 1998 as one of the first releases on Voodoo Rhythm Records the second album, 'Because Of Woman', followed in 2006, and definitely catapulted them countrywide into the status of a influential band and showed that their cult continues growing with every record they put out. Everything the band records and produces, is done at their own self-made analogue studio called 'roy home production'.

Maybe it is because good things take time and they take it. Maybe it is because of their amazing artwork for covers and posters. Or maybe it's just because they don't give a fuck about what anyone else is doing musically that they are truly an original. Their new drummer, Alain Perret-Gentil (the singer of the garage punk band Come'n'go), plays harmonica, sings backing vocals and has introduced a more dancier, groovier element to some of their new songs. Tell it to the people is all roy home recordings, self made to the bone, hours of recording on tape and over recording re recording trowing away and recording some more..

Take Them On, On Your Own

The second album by BRMC sees them retain the moodiness and menace from their debut and crank it up another notch, the end result being (to wheel out the old cliche) 'none more black'. As with countless other bands, this lot eschew the sunny West Coast vibes of their native California in favour of a dark, rumbling, anglophile sound much indebted to the likes of My Bloody Valentine and the shoegazing movement of the early 1990s. Full of coruscating effected guitars, drone-like bass playing and vocals that fight to be heard on top, these 13 tracks consolidated their position as one of the best, most passionate, not to mention loudest, bands in the world, back when it was originally released in 2003.

Mine says: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have played a big part in my life in the past 10+ years and although I must admit that they seem to have lost their edge a little bit I still call them my favourite band. Their first album 'B.R.M.C.' is probably just as good, if not better, than 'TTO,OYO', but the latter is my personal favourite and far too underrated. It is also the only record that has earned itself a place on my wall.

                                                      Bleep # 1 - Whitey Remix

This long awaited comeback single for Mr. No and Bryan Black is a taster for their forthcoming album "Unhuman". The duo's new material has taken a mutant disco-tech hybrid and coerced it into a sleeker and more mature sound that smoothes the edges yet retains the attitude of their previous clubland destroying singles. The first example of this is new single "Bleep #1", which as its name suggests builds around a incessant computer bleep groove and rolling bass synth, creating a dynamic and pulsating bionic bontempi rhythm. The flipside is remixed by Whitey, who adds even more bleeps and squeaks.

Fantastic mellow mini album from this band who've been compared with Buffalo Springfield through to Richard Hell, Alex Chilton and The Replacements.
