Justus Kohncke gets all Le Freaky on this Stilove4music Chic reworks / edits three tracker. "Now Phreeq" pounds "Le Freak" into submission with a relentless bassline and driving beat before those classic strings, funky guitar licks and vocals arrive. "The Clock Keeps Turning " takes on "Good Times" in pretty much the same manner, adding extra heavyweight 4/4 beats and a building acid bassline to those vibes. Lastly "Every Body " ("Everybody Dance") goes off on a galloping hi-NRG trip round the dancefloor (just wait 'til it suddenly kicks into swinging 3/4 time!). With its combination of extra dancefloor energy and instantly recognisable samples, this EP is an absolute must for DJs who like full dancefloors.
