The second of this month’s killer new Great Pop Supplement releases is the new single from London’s The See See. Following previous “blink and you’ll miss it”, long sold out releases for the label, this new double A side is a beauty.

“Gold & Honey” is another gorgeously 60s flavoured, timeless pop gem straight outta’ the US West Coast lineage of Byrds, Burritos, Buffalos et al and acts as a perfect showcase to the bands’ imminent, fabulous second LP.

Where the A side follows a more familiar path for the band, the flip reveals a whole new, previously unmined angle from them. The fabulous ‘Eat Lights Become Lights’ remix to “Sunbleached” takes them close to some hybrid Kraut / Spiritualized collision and is utterly mesmerizing and a real departure thus far. Totally lush and completely captivating, this is a real departure and makes for a stunning double A side.
