Following the recent release of their debut cassette tape EP, Sir Yes Sir's lonnnng awaited debut album "Reigning Over Silence" is released on August 2nd 2010. The release comes in the form of a 6 panel digipak CD and features nine tracks recorded by Harvey Birrell (Johnny Foreigner/Good Shoes/Dananananaykroyd) at Southern Studios. Sir Yes Sir have spent Summer 2010 recording a couple of sessions for the BBC, playing shows with Johnny Foreigner, Egyptian Hip Hop and just about every hyped band to pass through Manchester. They also contributed a track from this album to the recent Fierce Panda EP "Licensed To Drill". "Reigning Over Silence" chronicles the bands early years and often recalls the glory days of US 90s alt. rock. The album is released on Hope Club Records.
