ABOUT THIS ITEM
From the people behind the Ska Boots series comes this new four track EP, which takes the ska sound in a different direction. The 7" focuses on the teen / crooner style of ska-pop / doo-wop circa 1964. The EP opens with Neil Sedaka's B-movie gem "Do The Jellyfish", on wax for the first time, but obviously lifted straight from DVD, complete with extraneous film sounds. It's a shame this starts the EP, because all three other cuts are high quality sound-wise. Next we have Annette's "Jamaica Ska" - cute teen-pop! This is flipped with The Fleetwoods' "Ska Light Ska Bright", which is as corny as you like, and the EP closed with Baby Earl & The Trini-Dads' ace "Back Slop" - originals go for $120+ on this one. All that and a nice picture sleeve as well!
