It's literally just come through the door as we're about to update the new releases, so we're not even sure what the origins are of this brand new Moxie 12"! The vibe of #9 is one of foreboding, obscure disco-not-disco, with "Transfigured And Tormented" coming on like a deranged Rinder & Lewis edit with a severe drum addition (actually Cerrone's "Strip-Tease" off "Brigade Mondaine" LP - thanks Ichi!) and "Baby Cage" sounding like a fraction of Eno & Byrne's "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts" by is actually derived from Ralph McDonald's "Play Pen", all sparse, spooky vibes with found percussion and an exotic atmosphere.
