ABOUT THIS ITEM
Endless Flight deliver the debut album from Canadian producer Eddie C, who's been creating a bit of a stir with his releases on Sleazy Beats, Kolour LTD, Jiscomusic, Flashback, Hometaping, plus various remixes. "Parts Unknown" features an essential selection of his slo-mo / beatdown disco-house cuts which reference 70s soul to 80s boogie and beyond.
The album kicks off with the soulful tune "We Need We" , reminiscent of Minnie Ripperton or Deniece Williams . Second track ”Love Journey” and third track “Pains Inside” follow the 70s soul style which is Eddie's trademark. “Your love” is the first track to feature Eddies's vocals, reminiscent of Arthur Russell. ”Listenin’” is hip hop manner beatdown stuff
while Eddie shows his dubby disco side with the track ”Dub Me Gwen”. ”Space Shuttle” is modern kraut rock disco. Ending the album with some more uptempo tracks, ”Do It Yourself” is pure Philly disco sound while “Deepa” is a more housey track.”Starlight” and “I’m Sorry” are more electric boogie house.
