Live At Knebworth 1990

Pink Floyd Live At Knebworth 1990 for the first time on CD, double vinyl and digital platforms. This headline show was part of the star-studded 1990 Silver Clef Winners performance at Knebworth House, Hertfordshire that saw Pink Floyd topping the all-star bill that included Paul McCartney, Dire Straits, Genesis, Phil Collins, Mark Knopfler, Robert Plant (with Jimmy Page), Cliff Richard, Eric Clapton and Tears For Fears. Around 120,000 music fans saw these giants of rock appear on the hallowed stage of Knebworth, all in aid of the Nordoff Robbins charity, profits from which went towards setting up the BRIT School. The concert was broadcast globally on MTV.

This stunning live concert features many of the bands best known songs including Comfortably Numb, The Great Gig In The Sky, and Wish You Were Here. Alongside David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright, the album also features original The Great Gig In The Sky vocalist Clare Torry, plus guest musicians including sax player Candy Dulfer and keyboard player and composer Michael Kamen.

David Gilmour and Andy Jackson have remixed the audio from this iconic concert featuring all seven tracks performed on the day, and the album features new artwork shot by Floyd collaborator Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell of Hipgnosis and designed by Peter Curzon of Storm Studios. The concert, previously unreleased until it appeared on 2019’s Later Years box set, is now available as CD or double Vinyl set for the first time as a stand-alone album.

Delicate Sound Of Thunder - 2020 Reissue

Delicate Sound Of Thunder encapsulates a band at their best. The 3-LP 180-gram vinyl set includes 9 songs not included on the 1988 release of the album.

In 1987, Pink Floyd made a triumphant resurgence. The legendary British band, formed in 1967, had suffered the loss of two co-founders: keyboardist / vocalist Richard Wright, who left after sessions for The Wall in 1979, and bass player and lyricist Roger Waters, who had left to go solo in 1985, soon after the 1983 album The Final Cut. The gauntlet was thus laid down for guitarist/singer David Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason, who proceeded to create the multi-platinum A Momentary Lapse Of Reason album, a global chart smash, which also saw the return of Richard Wright to the fold.

Originally released in September 1987, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason was quickly embraced by fans worldwide, who flocked to attend the live tour dates, which started within days of the album’s release. The tour played to more than 4.25 million fans over more than two years, and, as a celebration of the enduring talent and global appeal of David, Nick and Richard was unsurpassed at the time.

                STAFF COMMENTS

says: Superb LP which has one side dedicated to the fully orchestrated title track, and the other an unusual collection of tunes composed by all 3 songwriters. The standout track is Dave Gilmour's "Fat Old Sun".

                Pink Floyd

                London 1966 / 1967

Pink Floyd's 'London 1966/1967' was originally recorded for Peter Whitehead as part of his legendary 1967 "Tonite Lets All Make Love In London" film - semi-documentary about the "swinging London" scene of the sixties.

These first ever studio recordings from the classic 1960's Pink Floyd line-up are now available on Kscope as a limited edition 180 gram white vinyl version in a gatefold cover, with printed inner sleeve.

The film featured a series of psychedelic performances and interviews and features live performance by Pink Floyd, together with footage of John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Mick Jagger, Vanessa Redgrave, Lee Marvin, Julie Christie, Allen Ginsberg, Eric Burdon, Michael Caine and many others attending one of the band's concerts.

'London 1966/1967' features two rare performances, from classic Floyd era featuring Syd Barrett, when they were at their most adventurous and exploratory, including an explosive 17 minute version of 'Interstellar Overdrive', recorded at the legendary Sound Techniques studio in early 1967.

                  Pink Floyd

The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn - Vinyl Edition

Pink Floyd’s debut album featuring the original line-up of Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason. The album includes the classic songs Astronomy Domine, Lucifer Sam and Interstellar Overdrive. One of the seminal psychedelic rock albums of the 1960s.
Stereo version (original LP both Mono and Stereo)

                    Pink Floyd

                    More - Vinyl Edition

In 1969 the band collaborated with filmmaker Barbet Schroeder to provide the soundtrack to the film More. This was the first of Pink Floyd's film soundtrack albums, and includes future early 70's live favourites Cymbaline and Green Is The Colour.

                      Pink Floyd

A Saucerful Of Secrets - Vinyl Edition

The band’s second album, originally released in 1968, was the first album to feature David Gilmour, who replaced Syd Barrett on guitar and vocals. It is both the last Pink Floyd album on which Syd Barrett appeared and the only studio album to which all five band members contributed. This is Pink Floyd in transition from Barrett's psychedelic whimsy to the style of their epic pieces. Classic tracks include Jugband Blues and Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun..

Stereo version (original LP both Mono and Stereo)

                        Pink Floyd

                        Ummagumma - Vinyl Edition

This was the band’s first double album and has one of their most iconic cover images. One album features Pink Floyd’s then-current live set, while Disc 2 includes solo compositions and performances by each member of the band. Live tracks include Careful With That Axe, Eugene and Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, while studio tracks include Grantchester Meadows and The Narrow Way.

                          Pink Floyd

                          The Endless River

'The Endless River' has as its starting point the music that came from the 1993 Division Bell sessions, when David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Mason played freely together at Britannia Row and Astoria studios. This was the first time they had done so since the ‘Wish You Were Here’ sessions in the seventies. Those sessions resulted in 'The Division Bell', the band’s last studio album.

In 2013 David Gilmour and Nick Mason revisited the music from those sessions and decided that the tracks should be made available as part of the Pink Floyd repertoire. It would be the last time the three of them would be heard together. The band have spent the last year recording and upgrading the music, using the advantages of modern studio technology to create 'The Endless River'.

'The Endless River' is a tribute to Rick Wright, whose keyboards are at the heart of the Pink Floyd sound. It is a mainly instrumental album with one song, ‘Louder Than Words’, (with new lyrics by Polly Samson), arranged across four sides and produced by David Gilmour, Phil Manzanera, Youth and Andy Jackson.

'The Endless River' is the first new Pink Floyd album for 20 years, and is a fitting addition to the bands stellar legacy.

                            STAFF COMMENTS

says: Their tribute to keyboardist Richard Wright is a return to the Floyd's meandering mellowness of old.

Wish You Were Here - Remastered Vinyl Edition

On its release in 1975 Wish You Were here topped the album charts in both the UK and the US. Reflecting the bands thoughts of the time on the music business, and exploring themes of absence, Wish You Were Here contains the classic cut Shine On You Crazy Diamond, a tribute to founder member Syd Barrett.
