Fionn Kay Lavelle returns for another meditative duo of beautifully strummed guitars and hazy reverbed strongs. First up, we get the slowly growing beauty of 'Bird Above The Bath' focusing firstly on Lavelle's robust but ethereal vocals above a carefully constructed background of shimmering guitar and pensive string staccato, before flourishing into a gorgeous euphoric key-change.
On the flipside, we get the more upbeat but similarly smooth 'Half Pink', with it's rhythmically strummed guitars and two-chord simplicity shining through the echoing haze. This is a beautiful duo of pieces, showing the range and skills of Lavelle, and a sure sign of great things to come. Lovely stuff.
