"Teahouse Sessions" is his first new output under Slym Fas since then, and features four tracks of unique Chi-town music - somewhere between house and techno.
"Motion Activation" features a cruising arpeggio which boosts through a subby, low slung groove and is decorated by rapid fire synth arrows before Slym lets go of the ADSR envelop and sends the track into the stars. "Slow Jams" is anything but slow; pairing more glitchy mainframe melodies to a steady house beat under a cacophony of police sirens and reverb. "Amphibious (Green)" is a hefty number, still featuring those hardwired arpeggios and opening us the thrust for some strobe-lit, main stage slaying action. "Functional Apparatus" closes with a starry-eyed gaze, beatless for its majority is sees us float into rapid ascension into the heavenly realms; Slym Fas' deadly sequencers plotting a truly interstellar course through solar winds and dark energy. Top stuff here indeed from an old school don.
