Following multiple appearances on labels like Kompakt, QC Records or his own GLYK imprint - DJ Balduin lands on KANN with a full lengths worth of downtempo, ambient and ecstasy inspired house and breakbeat cuts. "Concrete Mimosa" in a beautifully poised album - sequenced to perfection and drifting through cerebral electronics and dreamy atmopsheres which occassionally burst into fully fledged future club cuts - "High" possibly being our favourite amongst the set for its rampaging modern techno stomp. The synthesis during the beatless numbers is fabulous, and DJ Balduin obviously has a knack at carving out the most original sounds from his patchbay. Check it!
