The Mouse Outfit ‘REMIXED’is a collection of 12 brand new remixes of tracks taken from our 1st 2 albums, ‘Escape Music’(2013) and ‘ Step Steadier ’ (2015) The tracks have been reinterpreted by 12 heavyweight international producers including fellow Manchester resident and drum and bass pioneer Dub Phizix , Scottish reggae soundsystem Mungo’s Hifi , Detroit beat guru Tall Black Guy and Russian mixologist DJ Vadim .Influences come from hip hop, reggae, dancehall,, jazz and drum ‘n bass with a variety of styles from the headnodding boom bap remixes by Dirty Dike (HIGH FOCUS), Pete Cannon and Flofilz through to the soulful reworks by Werkha (TRU THOUGHTS) and Sivey (SOULECTION) to bass heavy dancefloor reworks from Biome (LEVELZ), Benny Page and Bane & Nymad. The album features vocals from UK rappers Sparkz , Fox , Dr Syntax , Black Josh, Truthos Mufasa , Verb T , Jman and TMan
