The delectable Seventh Sign return with their 29th offering to date. Top Scottish house label this, tipping its hat constantly to Chicago and Detroit through its already illustrious career whilst also adding that all-important Scottish personality to proceedings. Bud Burroughs appears to be a newcomer on the scene; "The Mail Art EP" his first record to date. Electric, tantalizing, technicoloured dance music occupies the release, with a broken beat / electro type think swathed in sumptuous textures and carnal desires segued in the middle. "With Awe, Ma Heart" kicks us off though, an optimistic, futuristic mini-anthem; that rubbery bass part should signify its entry into any dancing space with aplomb while the tight beats and dreamy pads keep us staring at the ceiling. "On Yr Own" completes the EP with a deep and grooving, mid-tempo house number; Burroughs again showing a keen ear for instrumentation not to mention being more than apt at conjuring up a catchy melody or two.... Ace this.

Matt says: Glasgow's answer to Trax, Seventh Sign remain a crucial force in 2018 with some tasty new dance music courtesy of Bud.
