SEVENTH SIGN

A triumph return from the long serving and highly discernable Seventh Sign label -  Graham Wilson and Domenic Cappello's Glasgow based imprint which has hosted the likes of Terrence Parker, Marcellus Pittman, Dan Curtains, John Beltram and many more.

Burroughs heads this latest EP with an infectious brand of electrified machine funk - driving, kinetic, high voltage tracks that buzz and ripple in all the right places. "New Future Lines" opens with a bright-eyed, shoulder-swaying tech-house groove complete with twinkles, twangs and angelic elements. "Sigler" drives hard, with rippling bass notes, darting lead stabs and rising arps - a track that captures the excitement and anticipation of a dancefloor that's steadily rising to boiling point. Carl Finlow remixes said track and turns it out into a deep aquatic, end-of-night electro-tinged epic. Somewhere between Aux88 and Radioactiveman with cataclysmic chord progressions and swelling energy. The electro vibe is continued through last track, "Half Light" which snaps with an urgency akin to DJ Assault or DJ Stingray

STAFF COMMENTS

Matt says: Seventh Sign's one of my favourite UK labels. Rivalling anything from Detroit, Chicago or Berlin. The Glasgow based label has consistently kept tastefully at the forefront of electronic dancefloors. Here they draft in Burroughs who shows us exactly what we're going to be grooving to over the shadowy months ahead.
