    To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Biffy Cyro’s sixth studio album ‘Opposites’, the band are releasing the four EPs from the era ‘Black Chandelier/Biblical’ and ‘Opposite/Victory Over The Sun’ on vinyl for the very first time. These LPs will also be the first 12” to be pressed on sustainable ‘BioVinyl’ material globally by WMG. BioVinyl is an innovative product using bio-based PVC in the production process, without losing any of the acoustic quality of a conventional vinyl record. This release features the singles ‘Black Chandelier’ and ‘Biblical’.

      Originally released via the legendary Factory Records, Substance compiled all of the band's singles to that point in their 12” versions, and specially new recorded versions of ‘Temptation’ and ‘Confusion’. The album also included the biggest selling 12” single of all time, Blue Monday, alongside other classic singles The Perfect Kiss, Bizarre Love Triangle and the band’s debut single release Ceremony.

      The album is the band’s biggest selling to date, with over one million copies sold, going platinum in the UK with a Top 5 hit in True Faith which was accompanied by the seminal video, directed by French choreographer Philippe Decouflé.

          Coming off the back of the expensive Lovesexy Tour, Prince needed to replenish his coffers and agreed to record nine original songs for Tim Burton's box office smash movie, Batman, starring Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Kim Basinger. The 1989 album was a huge success, and featured hit singles “Batdance” and “Partyman”, as well as “Scandalous”.

                          BBC Sessions 1982-1984 features three BBC sessions which have never been available on CD before. Two of the sessions were with admired radio broadcaster John Peel. Includes early versions of the singles ‘Walk Away’ and ‘No Time To Cry’ that would end up on their debut ‘First And Last And Always’. Includes covers of The Stooges ‘1969’, Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ & Hot Chocolate’s ‘Emma’.

                          This title charts their earliest days as an indie band in 1982 to the time they signed to Warner Records in 1984. Following on from the release on vinyl for the first time as part of Record Store Day 2021, it will all be available on CD from 27th August 2021.
