The Cure release the 1986 mix of 'Boys Don’t Cr'y in line with its 40th Anniversary. Initially released as a standalone single in the summer of 1979, 'Boys Don’t Cry' became the title track of the US edition of the band’s debut album, 'Three Imaginary Boys'.

The song went on to become one of the band’s signature tracks and achieved international success in 1986, when Robert Smith re-recorded the vocal and remixed the backing track. Although this new version was created to promote the best of collection 'Staring At The Sea – The Singles', the LP itself featured the original recording, and the 7-inch version of 'Boys Don’t Cry (New Voice – New Mix)', now retitled 'Boys Don’t Cry (86 Mix)', is being released for the first time in 40 years.

The 1975 released their second studio album 'I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It' February 26th, 2016. Topping both the UK (BPI Platinum) & US (RIAA Gold) album charts, it spawned 7 singles, 'Love Me', 'Ugh!', 'A Change of Heart', 'She's American', 'Somebody Else', 'Loving Someone' and 'The Sound'. Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian, listed it as one of the best albums of 2016.

2026 is the 10th anniversary of this much beloved album. To celebrate this the album is to be released on pink vinyl housed in 6 panel tripled gatefold packaging with alternative artwork and 17 12”x12” art cards, each card image represents a song with the lyrics on the reverse.

Surfacing just as alternative rock went mainstream, Beck’s 1994 official album debut, 'Mellow Gold', quickly confounded expectations when 'Loser' metamorphosed from a rejected demo to a ubiquitous smash. 'Loser' showcased Beck’s unconventional approach to songwriting and solidified his status and an innovative voice in alternative music. The song contains a sample from 'I Walk on Guilded Splinters' by Dr. John. 'Mellow Gold' was produced by Beck, Tom Rothrock, Rob Schnapf and Karl Stephenson. The album was mixed by Tom Rothrock and Rob Schnapf.

Barry says: For me, the first few albums of Beck's were the most impactful and I Particularly remember 'Loser' being all over the place when I was younger, the fact that it falls at the start of an otherwise brilliant album is just the icing on the cake. Classic.
