For the first three tracks he injects a kind of technicoloured energy into the classic UKG formular. A bit like what Zomby did with hardcore breakbeat on “Where Were U in ‘92”.
Side B sees more 4/4 avenues explores with “Flashposergio” possessing an almost trance-like sugar rush and a hugely anthemic chorus, with “Kenan & Kergio” concluding proceedings with a rugged hip-house cut with a west coast feelin’ and utilizing that’s classic Funkadelic “Flashlight” sample to devastating effect.
