This is great! An odd, quirky, eclectic compilation, from local label Slick Nine Records. It features one track from each of the Slick Nine bands, from the lo-fi New Orleans heartbreak of Keyboard Rebel, to the bassoon, flute and trumpet-tinged wonky brilliance of And The Adventures Of, to the hardcore rock'n'soul of Bangkok Huskies through to the slinky experimentation of Senockian. An ethic of 'do what you want, just make sure it's amazing' underpins the work of Slick Nine's nine boys and two girls, and as you can hear from this 10" it's one that's gonna make people fall in love with 'em.
