La Fenëtre Magique is the spellbinding new album from Scanner. Showcasing his world class propensity for on-the-fly electronic improvisation, Robin Rimbaud brings his breathtaking craft to Werra Foxma. Initially recorded as a session for Steven Anderson’s last ever weekly ‘Magic Window’ radio show in August of 2021, we reached out to Robin about releasing the session as a vinyl release.

Being the true gent that he is, he agreed. ‘Blinking In Time’ is a mesmerising 30 minute journey spanning a myriad of styles, showcasing Robin’s effortless ability to bend and warp his almost-infinite sonic palette to his will. Ethereal one minute, hyper-intense the next. Despite its track length, ‘Blinking In Time’ is forever restless and evolving, with surprises at every turn. It’s a piece of music that deserves to have a short film produced to compliment it, not the other way round. Rounding off the album is the sensational ‘After Magnetism’, a blanket of scorched earth sound, with clouds of overdriven tones that envelop and entrance the listener.
