About this item

“The FEAR” is the second single from one of the hottest unsigned bands to come from Manchester in years. Recorded at Shed Studios in Stockport by John Slater (one-time producer of The Mock Turtles) in July of this year,” The FEAR” marks a change in the direction of The Rubys.

“The FEAR” is an essay of an uncomfortable truth that inhabits every street, town, and City.

The Fear is a song about the systemic and institutionalised torture associated with Domestic Abuse. In the UK, 1 in 4 women will experience violence in the home.

Refuge is a charity committed to a world where domestic violence is not tolerated or ignored.

The Rubys have consistently refused to trivialise their music. The Rubys are donating 100% of all profits from this single to the Charity. Refuge has officially endorsed the single and supports the message of the song.
