Panorama Bar resident and one of Berlin's strongest exponents of sassy, grooving house & techno, Nick Höppner drops his second album on the institutional Ostgut Ton. A labour of love, Nick addressed his own capitalist shortcomings before setting to work on the album - leaving his job as label manager at Ostgut Ton, going freelance, and concentrating more on his studio work and DJing - attempting to break away from the cyclical, profit-driven machine of the music industry. Nine tracks that amply demonstrate Hoppner's knack of creating deft dancefloor magic, whether it's in the studio or behind the decks.
