Having added keyboard work on his pal Cerrone's 1976 landmark "Love In "C" Minor" album, Don Ray was rewarded with co-production by the Frenchman on his own 1978 "The Garden Of Love" LP. Polydor pulled two singles from the LP, the hit "Got To Have Loving" and superb electro-disco / jazz-funk fusion that is "Standing In The Rain". The latter (previously on one of those pricey Loft Classics EPs) features instantly recognizable Cerrone production work, complete with spiralling synths and "Supernature" style off the wall section at the end. Essential!
