The Mooney Suzuki's landmark debut 'People Get Ready' is getting the deluxe treatment for its 25th anniversary! The full album is completely remastered and includes the rarity 'I'm Not Talkin' along with the band’s 1999 concert at The Cooler in NYC, a blistering, sweat-soaked performance never before released. This seminal 2000s album has never sounded better. Long hailed as one of the ignition sparks of the early-2000s garage-rock revival, 'People Get Ready' helped define the sound and swagger of a scene that would soon reshape rock music. Its explosive energy, razor-wire riffs, and unfiltered urgency were a blueprint for a generation of bands emerging from New York’s downtown clubs. Members of The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and other contemporaries have spoken about the electric atmosphere of the band, and 'People Get Ready' stands as one of the records that proved a new wave of rock was not only possible, but inevitable. The Mooney Suzuki’s raw, soul-infused attack set a tone that their peers absorbed, expanded, and carried into the global spotlight.

'Were "The Watchtowers"' is the final recordings of Dallas Good of The Sadies, recorded prior to his unexpected passing in February 2022. This collaboration between Good and Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire (originally calling their duo “The Watchtowers") had slowly been written and recorded over the course of a decade whenever the two had a spare weekend. “It has been the slowest moving musical endeavour of my entire life,” Parry says. “We didn’t plan to do it this way, it’s just how it happened. Tiny, joyous flourishes of activity a couple times a year for over a decade.” Many of Good’s collaborators make guest appearances on the album, including Neko Case, Kurt Vile, Yo La Tengo, Jim Jarmusch, John Doe, Jon Spencer, Scott McCaughey, Gary Louris and Margaret Atwood. The album explores the cosmic, psychedelic Americana sounds that The Sadies perfected on 2022’s 'Colder Streams' that featured Parry in the producer’s chair. The final track on the album 'Not in This World' boasts a chorus of over 500 of Dallas' friends and fans from around the world singing together on Dallas' final piece of recorded music.

To celebrate the legendary Young Fresh Fellows' 40th anniversary, the band took one day off their hectic touring schedule to head to Wilco's LOFT studio in Chicago. The band got GRAMMY-Award winner Tom Schick behind the boards and some legendary guests across the album, including Neko Case (sings lead on 'Destination'), John Stirratt of Wilco (harmony vocals), Morgan Fisher of Mott The Hoople (keyboards), Jonathan Segel of Camper Van Beethoven (violin), Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists (accordion, harmony vocals), Mark Greenberg of Eleventh Dream Day (vibraphone), Peter Buck of R.E.M (12-string guitar), and Dave "Max" Crawford of Poi Dog Pondering (trumpet). This finished record, 'Loft', has never been released before and is finally seeing the light of day for the Young Fresh Fellows' 40th anniversary. The record is pressed on splash colour vinyl and limited to 1,000 copies worldwide.

After a ten-year break from the studio, The Autumn Defense pick up right where they left off on their long-anticipated sixth album, 'Here and Nowhere'. Infusing the band’s breezy, harmony-drenched take on Laurel Canyon with lush orchestration and psychedelic flourishes, the collection is dreamy and impressionistic, full of warm, inviting tunes as beautiful as they are bittersweet.

Like much of the group’s catalog, it’s an album full of mystery and wonder, a rich, open-hearted work that nods to everything from Nick Drake and John Martyn to Carole King and David Crosby as it contemplates the passage of time, reckoning with what we lose, what we gain, and who we become along the way. Founded by core duo John Stirratt and Pat Sansone—and now featuring longtime rhythm section James Haggerty and Greg Wieczorek—The Autumn Defense first took shape in New Orleans, where the band recorded their 2001 debut, 'The Green Hour'. While the group has at times been pigeonholed as a Wilco side project (Stirratt is a founding member, and Sansone joined around the release of 2004’s A Ghost Is Born), The Autumn Defense’s sound has always been decidedly more West Coast than alt-country, drawing comparisons to The Beach Boys, The Byrds, and Love over the course of five critically acclaimed studio albums. NPR hailed the group’s “timeless pop songs,” while Rolling Stone called their music “gorgeous” and “delightful,” and the New York Times praised their delivery as “warm and radiant.”
