    Creation Rebel

Close Encounters Of The Third World - 2024 Reissue

A sublime set of roots, vocal and dubbed out instrumental magic, Close Encounters Of The Third World is a real lost gem in the treasure-filled Creation Rebel back catalogue. A true cross-atlantic collaboration - initial rhythm tracks were laid down in London in 1978, with horns and vocals overdubbed at Channel One in Jamaica, before bandleader Crucial Tony returned to London with the tapes for the album to be mixed by a visiting Prince Jammy.

Originally released on pre-On-U Sound label Hitrun, and the second album released by the group chronologically. Unavailable for 45 years, it has been carefully pieced back together, for this new edition featuring extended 12” discomix versions of “Beware” and “Natty Conscience Free”, re-cut by Frank Merritt at The Carvery. Includes new sleevenotes by reggae scholar David Katz that tells the story of the album in full, plus download card

      The Killers

      Rebel Diamonds

Entitled Rebel Diamonds, the album of highlights features 20 tracks, including the modern day classics “Mr. Brightside,” “When You Were Young,” “All These Things That I’ve Done,” “Human,” “Read My Mind” and at least one song from each of the band’s seven studio albums. The album also carries through to the band’s most recently released, critically-lauded single, “Your Side of Town” and includes a brand new anthem ready to be sung at festivals across the world called “Spirit.”

        Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

        Live At Levitation

In the early 2000s, San Francisco's Black Rebel Motorcycle Club were part of a vanguard of acts spearheading a garage rock revival - each a beacon of the staying power of gritty guitar music: The White Stripes and Dirtbombs in Detroit, The Kills in London, The Strokes and Interpol in New York, The Raveonettes in Copenhagen - the list goes on. Each made their mark, and BRMC’s take on rock and roll in the 20th century was particularly alluring - dark and atmospheric, their debut LP took them immediately out of the underground and onto stages worldwide, bringing their rock and roll manifesto to a new generation of music fans and artists.

            Rebel Dong / Dream Song

A Belfast escapee finds himself in France at the start of the 21st century. Recruiting three French musicians with the same idea, nothing else for it than to depart on quest to find something real. The Vampyrs play up-tempo rock'n'roll with a penchant for 60's psych and freakbeat. Already an LP under their belts, they're celebrating the release of their first 7" on the Cougouyou Music label.
Linked to the record store of the same name in Perpignan in the deep South of France, Cougouyou Music has a focus on the local scene in Northern and Southern Catalonia.

              The Rebel

              Tarskovski's 'The Snacrifice' EP

New EP by legendary Country Teasers' front-man B.R. Wallers, aka The Rebel. Raw and brilliant proto-punk-hillbilly-garage horror. Explosive and rocking, disturbing and funny, often compared to The Fall for originality.
