Invada Records announce the release of Team Brick's debut album "Alogon". Team Brick is vocalist / multi instrumentalist Matt Williams who has over the past couple of years been quietly making a name for himself in the Bristol music scene, not least his involvement last year on Portishead's "3rd" album. Along with Geoff Barrow and Billy Fuller, Williams is also a member of Beak whose debut album will be released on Invada later this year. If you haven't heard or seen this man play out or heard any of his music this is a good a place as any to check him out. The man cant be compared to anybody or anything, but if you're a fan of the following artists... John Zorn, Merzbow, Mr Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3, Steve Reich, Dalek, Cardiacs etc etc you may wish to explore what he has to offer with this album. Making comparisons from Robert Wyatt to Gastr Del Sol to Sunn O))) Wire magazine concluded; 'There are plenty of would-be mavericks currently operating on the fringes of the UK music underground, most of whom are labouring under delusions of adequacy, never mind grandeur.
