Bloom Forever

‘Bloom Forever’ is Thomas Cohen’s debut solo release and is released by Stolen Recordings.

Thomas Cohen was previously frontman of the band S.C.U.M., who released one exquisite album, ‘Again Into Eyes’, in 2011. Just 21-years-old when they split, Cohen’s life soon presented him with a different set of subjects to draw from. While his band may have broken up, his marriage and the birth of his two sons gave his subsequent songwriting a newfound focus and clarity.

Inspired by the works of singer-songwriters such as Townes Van Zandt, Judee Sill, Van Morrison and Jim Sullivan, his forthcoming album, of which this single is the title track, is a chronologically ordered document of the songs Cohen wrote between 2012 and 2015.

‘Bloom Forever’ recounts the birth of his second son with touching emotional honesty and a refreshing lack of sentimentality. “I wrote the lyrics in the hospital on the day he was born,” recalls Cohen.

    East India Youth

    20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Stolen Recordings release East India Youth’s epic 54 minute imagined soundtrack for the 1916 silent film ‘20,000 Leagues Under The Sea’.

The band’s ‘Total Strife Forever’ was recently nominated for both an AIM Award and the 2014 Mercury Music Prize.

To celebrate the band’s achievements an expanded version of ‘Total Strife Forever’ has been released in a double CD edition, featuring ‘20,000 Leagues Under The Sea’ as a bonus.

And just in case you already have Total Strife Forever’ and don't want to buy another copy, ‘20,000 Leagues Under The Sea’ is also available here as a standalone CD. Ta da!

      Bo Ningen

Bo Ningen’s third album ‘III’ is a rich and accomplished album that has seen the band evolve musically. Collaborations with Jehnny Beth of Savages and Roger Robinson of King Midas Sound feature and the band have sung partly in English for the first time.

‘III’ illustrates Bo Ningen as a group with a singular vision, reaching for what they define as ‘pure music’, by turns esoteric and a no holds barred sensory assault.

Serafina’s third album, produced by Jarvis Cocker.

She is accompanied here by Capitol K, Steve Mackey, Jarvis Cocker, The Boxettes, Polar Bear’s Seb Rochford and The Flying Lizards wizard David Cunningham.

Unassuming yet mesmerising, this album confirms the arrival of a singular talent, a breath-taking voice and an utterly unique lyricist.
