The Umeå trio Barnet is back!
It’s been seven years since Barnet’s acclaimed debut album 'Tänk på döden' was released. It feels both like a long time ago and somehow quite recent…
Sing a Song Fighter is very happy to be releasing this fall the masterful upcoming album 'Galen och kär', which among other things includes a duet with Mattias Björkas (Vasas Flora och Fauna).
With three-part, heavenly lead vocals, direct and striking lyrics, and wonderful melodies, their music often becomes lofty and deeply enchanting. And since they have roots in the Swedish folk tradition, that naturally finds its way into the music—accompanied closely by their great love for pop music with glittering arpeggios, floating soundscapes, and analog keyboards and synths, all masterfully recorded here by Christian Gabel (1900, bob hund).
Welcome back, Barnet!
