Taking their name from The MC5's studio, Terrashima, their unique blend of trashy blues-based punk'n'roll owes much to the gutter rock of The Stooges and The MC5, with the contemporary dynamics of The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Kyuss, the howling proto-grunge of Mudhoney and Sonic Youth, and a front-man equal parts Iggy Pop and Mark E Smith.
