Massive 12" here from Scan 7. The original mix of "The Resistance" came out in 2012 on Tresor and has become a hugely sought after sonic artifact from these Detroit rebels. A remix by fellow Detroiter Terrence Parker has been added to the original mix - a gospel house take guided by thick organs and Motor City sub bass - perfectly pairing TPs iconic production traits with the forward thinking aesthetic of Scan 7. Finally, Underground Resistance get in on the action with a gnarly electro-punk ripper. Kicks to the rib cage, buzzing sawtooths and slashing guitar lines accompanying that evocative vocal line brilliantly.
