Princess

ROC's "Princess" was BBC 6 music's evening sequence record of the week (May 2-8) and has been played on Radio 1 and XFM. The song's coasting groove is hailed by music site Losingtoday as 'a corker, the soundtrack to summer... Happy Mondays with pockets full of space dust'. Mixed by Coldplay / Morrissey producer Danton Supple, the song sets desert horns against country guitars while Fred delivers a bleak lyrical response to Iraq, terrorism, and the fragility of love in the 'safe' West. "Princess" is the first taste of their third album, due out later this year.
