After some 13 albums Porcupine Tree are firmly established as one of the most prolific bands of the prog / rock genre. "In Absentia" however is very different from their earlier work with Steve Wilson conjuring up his darkest vision yet. It's harder and louder too with some of Wilson's most direct and aggressive lead guitar work.
