Pure pirate radio ruffage decorates lead track, "Persian In AA Babylon" - complete with subwoofer wrecking bass, head mangling rave swrils and the fiercest amen tearouts this sie of Bizzy B. Add a few dubwise elements and you've got a sound system wrekka of maximum carnage! "Dub Like A Lion" continues the theme - merging rastaman vox, dubwise bass and gatt gun blasts of hyped up breaks. "Desertism (The Meditator Remix)" concludes with more liquid flavoured vibes, it's mystic lead line, angelic pads and reverb-drenched vocal adding to the more d&b flavoured drum palette beautifully, conjuring up one of those anthemic crossover tracks that most old school or new school DJs could work into their sets.

Matt says: Jungle-reggae circa '93 of the finest order. Real sound system joints here that have been painfully hard to acquire for time. Considering the technology availabLe at the time, Persian Prince was extracting more juice out of his Akai than any of today's cats with an Ableton sample pack and a ripped copy of re:drum.
