A Modern Job - 2025 Repress

Much sought after repress of Sprints' 2022 EP 'A Modern Job'. Sprints combine guitar-driven hooks, motoric rhythm and emotive lyricism to create a unique sound that pulls from garage, grunge, punk and beyond. Like the Irish guitar acts who have paved the way for them: Fontaines D.C., Silverbacks and Girl Band, the sound of Sprints is urgent and vital at every turn.

    Manifesto - 2025 Repress

Much sought after repress of Sprints' 2021 EP 'Manifesto'. ‘Manifesto’ EP saw the band develop sonically and politically, with title single ‘Manifesto’ quickly becoming a fan favourite. This marked the beginning of a fruitful working relationship with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox producing. Driven by experience, tough political climates and social and economic uncertainty - their music is honest, often politically charged and authentic.

        Chalk

        Conditions III

With the release of their debut EP 'Conditions', the band interweave their industrial noise/techno hybrid soundscape and monochromatic gothic visuals. On their second, ‘Conditions II’, they explored themes of nostalgia, love, pressure and loss on a four-track EP that combines techno with industrial post-punk and indie-rock. Their upcoming third EP, aptly named 'Conditions III', ends the trilogy that launched their career, fusing elements of heavy guitar music, electronica and breakbeat into a euphoric and frightening finished project. Recorded against the backdrop of bleak landscapes and Nordic vistas in remote northern Iceland, Chalk have shown another evolution in their already confrontational sound.

Winners of the ‘Best Live Act’ at the NI Music Prize in late 2023, Chalk have proved worthy of this title with sold-out headlines in Ireland, the UK, Netherlands and France, festival appearances stretching from the west coast of Ireland to Vienna and Sicily (as the second most booked band of ESNS 2024) and support slots for IDLES, SPRINTS and PVA under their belt.

          Physical Surveillance

The album, 'Physical Surveillance', is about letting old habits, old realties and old selves die. It’s about moving forward, growing upwards and trying to focus on the present and look towards the future. It’s about realizing that you can become a better version of yourself and that it’s okay to close the book on your past, in way that doesn’t erase the past but at least puts it under glass. It’s also just really fun to listen to.

            Kynsy

            Utopia

For a long while, Kynsy - the confident on stage performer - and Ciara Lindsey, the off stage songwriter behind it all, were two quite different people. Having gained swift praise from the likes of NME, DIY and Dork for her first singles ‘Cold Blue Light’ and ‘Happiness Isn’t A Fixed State’ back in 2020, the Dublin-raised, London-based musician soon found herself being heralded as a thrilling new voice in guitar music; upon the release of 2021 debut EP ‘Things That Don’t Exist’, reviews comparing her fizzing, earwormy indie-rock to luminaries such as The Strokes and St. Vincent came flooding in. But while Kynsy was immediately finding her place in the scene, Ciara was still trying to work out hers.

“On those first EPs, I was trying to be more of a character; I was escaping through being this confident frontwoman,” she says. “I was trying to tick every box and write great songs but also look cool and have a fashion eye and everything. I was so obsessed with doing well I wasn’t taking care of myself. I was always working, not going out, not letting myself breathe - it was that young, early twenties neuroticism of trying to get where I wanted to go and constantly thinking about the future but making myself a bit sick with it.”

Having lived in Dublin since the age of four, she speaks of the city as a place where “all you can do is dream, so you dream bigger”. For decades, it’s been a place that’s cultivated writers and artists; in recent years, of course, Dublin’s music scene has been prolific, with Ciara’s old college mates Fontaines D.C and The Murder Capital among those breaking out into huge success. “You create your own world to avoid the groundhog day-ness of the city,” she continues. “So many creative people have come from there, and there’s this feeling that we can make poetry out of it and do more.”

              Human Interest

              Smile While You're Losing

Marking the follow-up to acclaimed 2023 EP ‘Empathy Lives In Outer Space’, the impressive quartet's visceral lead track ‘Shapeshifting’, showcases another unbridled display of powerful emotion and effortless vocals, powered by their phenomenal rhythmic instrumentation.

Hailed by The Sunday Times as “an intriguing musical concoction that doffs its cap to grunge, The Kinks, Iggy Pop and T.Rex”, and accompanied with press support from many highly recognised publications (DIY, Dork, Clash, The Line Of Best Fit, Rough Trade, The Forty-Five), Human Interest have fast become mainstays on the BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq), Radio X (playlisted) and Sirius FM airwaves.
