Matt says: MM Discos pay tribute to the lesser known but culturally significant La Ruta del Bacalao movement from Spain (which judging by the pictures on google looks much like the Cosmic movement in Italy only with VWs instead of Citroen 2CVs). An ephemeral and magical moment, it's actually a really interesting rabbit hole to jump down if you've a penchant for dance music history! These three tracks seem to display how the scene distilled EBM, techno and punk attitude into their own geo-specific sound.
