Recorded in a fully-fledged recording studio in Brooklyn New York, the idea behind this current project was to assemble a few admirers of Kuniyuki's music and invite them to participate in the composition.
The musicians on this project include master percussionist / composer Lekan Babalola on African drums and percussion, lead guitarist James Bergeau, Joe Claussell on main voice and percussions; and of course, the artist himself Kuniyuki Takahashi on acoustic piano, keyboards and drum programming.
A spiritual jazz opus which slowly moves into more housey realms, it's a long and swiftly evolving arrangement given celestial leanings through the layers of chakra-aligning percussion and gentle hypnotic melodies woven into the mix. Obviously resonating perfectly with the Sacred Rhythm manta, with two different sonic rituals to choose from.
