Intergraded is a new label started by Midland aka Harry Agius to focus on releasing music by new artists; whether unknown, emerging or established but working under a new name. This debut compilation showcases fresh sound from Body in the Thames, Peach, Jay and Webstarr. BITT kick things off with "Silver Threaded Crystal Beads" - a modern revamp of house musics bare fundamentals it's coated in a wonderful sparkly patina and has a ridiculously infectious undercurrent. Peach is up next with the aptly titled, "Silky"; reminding me a little of Luv*Jams bouncy and optimistic Dream House records, it's got a wide-eyed, cinematic flavour and soft floaty drums. Jay takes things a little dark on "Balsam Drum" - half swirling machine hum half minimalist techno wiggle. "The Muse" completes the set, shining like a iridescent glow in the distant, it grows slowly in intensity adding analogue debris and refracted melodies as it does so. Midland's managed to gather some really really strong new music here and from a selection of artists relatively unknown to us here at Piccadilly so we're pretty buzzin to get this in.
