Standing Stone - 2022 Reissue

Sourced from the original master tapes.

Part-time farmer / musician Oliver Chaplin is the person behind one of the rarest private pressings from the UK. His cult masterpiece "Standing Stone" was recorded in early 1974 at a remote farm in Wales, using a portable 4-track Teac reel-to-reel machine. Helped by his brother Chris at the controls (an experienced BBC engineer who had worked on Syd Barrett sessions), surrounded by animals and "smaller winged creatures", Oliver sang and played acoustic and electric guitars filtered through tape echo, distortion and multi-tracking, creating a very unique sound, a kind of DIY mutant-psychedelic-blues (think Captain Beefheart) which sounded years ahead of its time. Despite the lo-fi nature of the recording, the sound quality is amazing and timeless.

    T2

    1970 - 2022 Reissue

his is the "lost" second album by hard-prog band T.2., featuring demos recorded at Decca Studios by the original line-up in 1970, just after the release of their debut masterpiece It'll All Work Out In Boomland. Known also as T.2. and Fantasy, 1970 shows T.2. at their rawest, featuring the explosive guitar of KEITH CROSS, the powerful drumming and cool vocals of PETER DUNTON and the fantastic bass playing of BERNIE JINKS.

High Speed And The Afflicated Man

      Get Stoned Ezy

In 1982, the mysterious Steve Hall, a self-proclaimed “hippie-punk” who had previously released a couple of D.I.Y basement-punk albums with his band Afflicted Man, recorded one of the most obscure, underrated and KILLER heavy-psych albums of all time.

Credited to High Speed & Afflicted Man, “Get Stoned Ezy” consists of three long tracks of late 60s / early 70s influenced psychedelic hard-rock. A fuzz-wah assault of epic proportions in the style of other guitar-damage Gods like Human Instinct, Wicked Lady, Hendrix, High Rise, Sabbath, Stooges, etc, all played with a real acid-punk attitude.

We present the first ever legit reissue of this lost masterpiece, licensed by Steve Hall.

Remastered sound, insert with detailed liner notes by Chris Stigliano (Black To Comm) and rare pictures.

"High energy post-Stooges, wah-guitar brain-melt of the highest/lowest order. One of the great lost albums of the 80's. Fucking essential." - Ripley Johnson (Moon Duo / Wooden Shjips).

“What is Steve Hall? He’s the pinnacle of psych!” - Chris Stigliano (Forced Exposure / Black To Comm).

“Too freaked out for punks, too punked out for freaks, 'Get Stoned Ezy' is a bloodbath of pedal stomping carnage” - Tom Lax (Siltblog).
