Faze Action Records unearth the disco wonder of Andromeda Orchestra. The lead track, "Get Up & Dance" has been expertly remixed by legendary DJ Nick the Record, extending the percussion, bass, keyboard sections and then teasing in the vocals towards the end to turn the track into a peak time disco burner which sits comfortably on dancefloors across the board. "High Steppin'" see's Andromeda Orchestra heading for a weighty instrumental track, tight percussion and keys driving home another floor filler. Side B opens with the original of "Get Up & Dance", an orchestral number that seems to reinvent the Salsoul blueprint with its rich choruses and string-led section; only AO go even further and add a wigged out, pitch bent keyboard solo - nice! "Koochi Koo" concludes, an organ-led funker complete with wah-wah strat lines, hefty B-line and soaring strings; don't sleep on this last one! - massive record right here.

Matt says: I don't need to sell you a Nick The Record mix - his name alone should do that. What I am gonna do is draw your attention to that cheeky last track - "Koochi Koo", a mid-tempo stomper of the highest order. Ace.
