Insight

"Insight" was a Phill Pratt project originally released in 1979. Here we get a fully licensed, 180 gram reissue, with extensive sleeve notes.

The vibe is OG roots reggae, typical of how the genre evolved after the demise of ska and rocksteady. The mood is generally uplifting and positive, with less of the more politically charged, radical content that also soundtracked many of the records of this period.
