Recorded during the dog days of the pandemic, professional skater- turned- indie rocker Tommy Guerrero has returned with an all-new solo album, a new twist on his sound he's amusingly dubbed, "Surf Goth". Featuring 70's drum machines, trimmedout baritone guitars, verbed-out synth pads, warbly keys, and a slight 80's sensibility - the album is a look toward new directions of life.
"The idea was to make something that would diminish the heavy times we were all experiencing in 2020/21. Something perhaps uplifting with a hint of beauty... or at least a respite from the ugliness outside.
