    The Star Spangles

    I Live For Speed

Way! 1979. I mean 2003! Riff-a-long-a chanty chorus new wave punk pop. Fast, catchy, done-in-a-garage and dripping with attitude, this sounds exactly like Stiff Little Fingers, or Ash (depending on your age) and when the singer sings: "Got my guitar, gonna be a star" you think: ROCK on (er..) dude!

    FORMAT INFORMATION

CDS Info: The CD single features the tracks "I Live For Speed", "I Feel So Good" and "Climbing The Corporate Ladder".

    Beverley Knight

Shape Of You (Reshaped) / Whatever's Clever (Mushtaq Mix)

"Shape Of You" has a great bumpy reggae / Bollywood- tinged hip hop-soul track produced by Wyclef Jean. The Mushtaq mix of "Whatever's Clever" is a solid bit of r'n'b - stripped-down and bass heavy.

    George Harrison

    Brainwashed

There is an inevitable poignancy about the release of "Brainwashed" the posthumous final solo album from George Harrison. Released on the first anniversary of his death in November 2001 it has been completed from the demo versions by Harrison's son Dhani and Jeff Lynne. It's distinctly 'George', lots of slide guitar and lyrics (some of the best he's ever written) centred on his own life and his spiritual and enviromental beliefs.

    Radiohead

    Amnesiac

The follow up to  "Kid A" finds Radiohead continuing their experiments of the previous album but with added structure and a stronger 'song' base. This all adds up to a phenomenal album of vision and depth that will disappoint no one.
