About this item
"Leave The Light On" has ghostly synthesisers and bubbling moog lines weaving through the drums like lost tape loops from Cat People or Midnight Express. Kyle Gibson's dramatic vocal hooks reel you in and Lucas Gianello's guitar riff takes hold and teleports the song into 80s style new wave rock delirium. Production is by Marcas Lancaster (Man Like Me) and Kevin McKay (Mylo). On side A Melbourne's Knightlife (signed to Cut Copy's label) delivers the kind of beat-heavy synth workout that would make Daft Punk proud while on the flip Ghent's Culture Clubbers Fredo & Thang take a journey that's part Switch, part acid-house and 100% dancefloor delight. Lastly you get "Time Is Coming", which has 'stadium' written all over it.
