Gwen McCrae's enduring "Funky Sensation" was a street disco hit for the veteran soul singer, produced in 1981 by Kenton Nix (most famous for his amazing West End productions). This Atlantic replica 12" also includes the Willie Hutch penned "Keep The Fire Burning" on the flipside. Both equally massive on dancefloors across the globe; I personally think both are the absolute creme of the disco crop - sounding utterly timeless and infectious some 40 years after being penned. 

Nice fat repress to replace your battered copies... Young'uns - get this in your collection pronto!
