About this item

Wow. It's hard to get across how ace this album is. Some reference points: he's got Beck's keyboardist, Brian Wilson's horn player and it's produced by some time Puff Daddy collaborator Linus. And it sounds? Well - classy. Upbeat, fresh, crisp, pop, rich in rock history with it's nods to Dylan, Beach Boys, Philly soul (him and Elton hey ?!) and even Burt Bacharach; but it's so light, breezy, gentle and free. The Curtis - inspired falsetto's still intact, as is Tim's talent for a tune. "Wonderland" was, I thought, the Charlie's best album, and this is it's sweet, fresh, wide-eyed, groovy cousin. Fantastic!!
