About this item
Denham Audio makes his long awaited debut onto Club Glow with the “Thirty Eight Snub” EP. 4 ruff cut breakbeat jungle tracks featuring the legendary grime MC Trim on the title track.
"Could Be" sets the tone of the EP with its well manipulated breaks, mammoth bass plumes and fluttery, pitched up female vox before "Thirty Eight Snub" sees another truck load of vintage breaks tweaked up to modern standards whilst hazy synthlines and punchy bass offer support for Trim's incendiary vocal delivery. Proper rude boy ruffage!
The madness continues on side B with "U Give Me" nestling into peak time strobe light territory with its pitched up Mardi Gras break and unrelenting bass and vox stabs coupled with proper soundbwoy SFX. "Missing You" concludes with an emotive liquid DnB / jungle crossover - blending soft wavy pads and a fucked flamenco guitar lick with a rugged beat construction and a phazed vox line.
All sounding ultra fresh and system ready. Recommended!
Matt says: No amount of titanium shielding and carbon-fibre protection is gonna stop this one mauling the rave bunker. When all that's left is a crumbling, sweat soaked dancefloor and farting sub woofers, Denham Audio will be rigidly steadfast in the booth, delivering foundation shaking bangers like this until they're atomically deconstructed via some alien force. Protection advised!
