About this item
EEE are back with another instant head turner, coupling a minimal, sub bass roller with a sampled ‘60s vocal that works oh so well with a shuffling beat behind it. The hype is already at boiling point on this one, so be quick on the trigger or beg Matt Ward for a loose copy.
Way back when I had a crowdpleasing 12" called 'Maximal Micheal / Minimal Elvis" (I'm reliably informed by Discogs' commenter Draasima that it was by DJ Koze) the flips of which housed a grooving tech house take on Elvis' recording of Fever. Well now, the mysterious EEE crew, masters of the tech house banger with BIG VOCAL put their spin on Peggy Lee's "Fever" turning out an absolute floor filler in the process.
12 inch, one sided white label, handstamped and pressed on 180G vinyl
Matt says: Illicit tech-house refix firm EEE stomp on, arms up, pumping fists completely nonchalant to the global party lockdown. I guess everyone's live stream needs an injection of fun and frolics on occasion; and if nailing a huuuuuge line of K whilst getting jiggy on the terrace is your thing then this record will at least serve to transport you at least halfway there... Look out fer the next one too - it's a banger a promise! ;)
