About this item
Here’s another batch of jacked up beat traxx from Still Love's vault of lost Chicago house reel to reel tapes. You know the score, deep in a basement, sweat dripping down the walls, Rahaan beating that shit, the ghost of Ron Hardy smoking PCP somewhere in the crossover! Exciting times. The A1 kicks it old school with all those period features, flanged snare rolls, Inner City keyboard vamps, snipped vocal samples, banging drums and a Silk bassline. Onto the A2 and there's the grizzled drum box, garbled radio phone in and mighty meaty B-line, bringing us GTA radio if the next instalment was set in the Windy City 1987. Flip it and label boss Jerome D drops by with a personal addition to the collection, serving a stripped back and hypnotic jacker.
