About this item
Second release from fledging firm, De Grey with man like Jack Angel coming on strong from deepest Yorkshire. "Week-End" opens proceedings, with skeletal kicks and frazzled percussion combining to create one of those pitch black but highly functional body tools. "6PNHHPE" follows up with brooding acid and sub bass pressure. On the flip, "Stablizer" lightens the mood with lush synths whilst "Seita" rounds things off with playful melodies juxtaposed with an industrial framework. Exciting stuff from this promising new producer. RIYL: Sunklo, Boddika, Alex Deamonds (East London Club Trax) etc etc.
