About this item
The Norman Connors produced Aquarian Dream first appeared in 1976 with their debut album on Buddah, featuring the extremely popular 'Phoenix' along with the club dancer 'East 6th Street'. Both tracks were only released previously on 12" in the UK and quickly became a huge collector's item with the release averaging £50 on Discogs some 38 years later. Now we get the jazzed up disco heat fully remastered for its first official reissue. A-side cut sweeps through jazz-funk tonalities, searing strings and sizzling percussion, filling your veins with its Wood, Brass & Steel style groove. Over on the B-side "East 6th Street" brings popcorn style keys, space sirens and a frisky disco funk briskness to the table, keeping the party moving on and on.
Patrick says: Total jazz-funk, disco bomb here from Norman Connors and Aquarian Dream. Heads down, hands aloft dance floor heat that's been a classic since day one!
